One in a Million Award recipient: Jenny Schneider

Where she’s multiplying good: Walnut Creek, California

How she’s multiplying good: She is One in a Million. Despite having a tough lymphoma cancer herself, Jenny always manages to find a way to help others. On her medical visits, she brings Costco Individual Snack Packs to the nurses and staff. We drop "chemocation kits", which she temporarily calls "Covidcation Kits" to people in isolation. The kits are filled with little secrets to keep you comfortable and sane that she learned about to help those that are isolated.  "Jenny Bracelets" are sold to fill our kits. She founded a group that is made up of women who own their own business. We support one another and help each other. Through her company and Golden State Dermatology, we offer free skin cancer checks once a year. She is currently planning the 4th annual "Meet Me In Miami" fundraiser that raises money for the Cancer Support Community in our area. It will be held I August 2020. When we learn of someone having a hard time, her family secretly mails or drops off gift cards or supplies to people who need them. We keep it hush hush since some people might be embarrassed. She has an Instagram page dedicated to helping people with cancer. The photo that has been uploaded is the announcement from the Cancer Support Community last August. She was chosen to be presented "The Spirit of Hope Award" at their annual gala. It was a very proud and healing moment for her and her family.
