One in a Million Award recipient: Fr. Paulson Mundanmani
Where he’s multiplying good: Pleasant Hill, California
How he’s multiplying good: He is One in a Million. Fr. Paulson is a local pastor in Pleasant Hill CA who figured out how to safely, quickly and simply keep his parishioners --and ANY interested individual-- fed spiritually during these Covid days. Within a couple of days of our mandatory, county wide shut down of all churches, Fr. Paulson was able to figure out how to broadcast a daily mass, as well as evening prayer to all who wished to participate. His efforts to quickly figure out how to reach people and help them spiritually were much appreciated by those who live in this area. In addition to spiritually 'feeding' our local community, he has also maintained the ability to physically feed hundreds in our local St. Vincent de Paul chapter. He has fundraised for this with his parishioners, raising over $34,000 in the past few weeks to support this local effort to feed many. Paulson has also overseen the continued online education of the K-8 Christ the King Elementary School, working with the principal to ensure that quality online education continued for the school children. He is dedicated to his ministry as a pastor and to reaching out to aid all those in need.... spiritually and physically.
